- Microsoft C/C++ also uses .cpp extension. Possibly others use this extension
- as well.

- Since filenames on DOS systems are not case sensitive, .C doesn't work. I would
- vote for either .cxx or .cpp, with preference on the latter. .cxx seems too
- alien to C++.
