- have you looked at your local library or technical bookstore? I can
- think of at least 3 books that deal with serial communications, and at
- least one of these is fairly widely available and discusses specific
- implementation details for PC based serial communications. Since you
- didn't mention have used these resources prior to sending a request
- to the network, I will point you in that direction first since I suspect
- you are not going to receive from the net the amount of info you need
- in order to understand the problem that you are trying to solve.

- and need to learn the procedures for doing research on your own.
