  12. Hi.  I've been trying to port Gnuplot to Linux, a Unix clone written by
  13. Linus Torvalds.

  15. Everything was compiling nicely until I got to the very end.  The Makefile
  16. tries to compile plot.h using the file "libplot.a"  Unfortunately, I checked
  17. my whole drive and cannot find this library.

  19. Does anyone know what directive I should use?  Please reply by e-mail.
