- Subject: Non-dithered colors in Paintbrush?

- Has anyone out there had any luck creating non-dithered colors
- in Windows 3.1 Paintbrush. I can create a wide variety of colors
- but they all have that course appearence. The reason for this
- course appearence is the alternating sprite colors. I was able to
- pull in the 256color.bmp file and on close inspection of the pixels
- noted colors which I was unable to recreate. Is this a limitation of
- Paintbrush (it wouldn't suprise me) and is there some packages out
- there that allow TRUE 256 color creations. I would appreciate any
- guidance that may be given.
