- Come on! For $20K you can get a Silicon Graphics Iris Indigo with full 3D
- animation software and 24-bit accelerated graphics, as well as CD-quality
- sound and real-time rendering and animation. Included on these systems is
- the capability to capture/edit digital video from a multitude of sources and
- even paste them back to either digital or analog media (optical disks /
- video tapes). Of course, you also get the Silicon Graphics MIPS chip
- performance and the ability to upgrade to a 64-bit R4000. For $20,000 you
- can most definitely get a very nice setup ......... however, PLEASE do not
- make it a Macintosh.
