- Several people have expressed interest in a version of EMACS
- for DOS. In the past, I have used microEMACS on PCs, and it
- is a rather nice version. I also appreciate the fact that
- its meta-language is something besides some variant of LISP,
- since I have never been able to really understand LISP.
- (IMHO LISP is really a retirement home for deleted
- parentheses ;-).)
- I understand that microEMACS is available for quite a few
- platforms, too, so it makes good sense to me to use one
- editor across whatever systems you use.
