  10.   Several people have expressed interest in a version of EMACS
  11. for DOS.  In the past, I have used microEMACS on PCs, and it
  12. is a rather nice version.  I also appreciate the fact that
  13. its meta-language is something besides some variant of LISP,
  14. since I have never been able to really understand LISP. 
  15. (IMHO LISP is really a retirement home for deleted
  16. parentheses ;-).)
  17.   I understand that microEMACS is available for quite a few
  18. platforms, too, so it makes good sense to me to use one
  19. editor across whatever systems you use.
