- Well, after getting rid of HIMEM.SYS and using QEMM386.SYS, all of my
- wierd keyboard troubles disappeared. I do believe I may have a PC-incompatible,
- rather than a PC-compatible, but it seems close enough for QEMM386. Now if I
- could just get that Desqview/X stuff working over the net . . .

- Oops! I feel stoopid. I didn't add the appropriate (setq pc-type . . .)
- thingy to my _emacs. (Or rather, didn't set USER and HOME so that demacs would
- FIND my _emacs.) Once I fixed that, I had Alt keys again.

- Great! Soon as I get this and copy over my .emacs (for key-bindings,
- don't-you-know), I'll be in hog heaven.
