- I think you're right; my experience in industry has shown that software is
- rarely designed, and that it does indeed get written in a very haphazard, ad
- hoc fashion.

- It also seems that more often than not, producing documentation for software
- (which was supposed to be on-line yesterday) rates very low on the priority
- list. It's a rare manager who understands either the need for good
- documentation or the time it takes to produce it.
