  30. a few items to check, first off you can type "monitor port XX status"
  31. and you will get a constantly updating screen of what's going on in terms
  32. of signals high and low.

  34. in terms of "xoffed" it is a generic term just meaning that the terminal
  35. server is to stop sending data.

  47. I used to run several high speed modems off a vcp-1000 (probably the same
  48. unit you have, on the 8 port line cards, no problems.
