- I turned off the ringer and the problem still exists. I guess this is
- the worse the problem could be. As for putting one line per jack
- (which solves my problem), my parents investment in 2-line phones
- would be a write-off (5phones X $129.99). I wonder if they'll phreak
- when I tell them I've put a new line into the house (while they are
- conveniently on vacation <grin>).
