  33. Boca internal modem does not have a 16550 chip. It has only support for
  34. 16450. I found this out after buying one just two months ago. I called
  35. their tech support who confirmed this. Since it does not have a 16450
  36. chip but only supports it you cannot even drop replace the chip. I 
  37. exchanged mine for an external and put a 16550AFN chip on my serial
  38. card.
