  12. Help!  My supra v.32bis modem, which is billed as handling line noise
  13. fairly well, drops the carrier every time my other line rings.  I have
  14. 5 two line phones hooked up throughout my house on sockets I've wired
  15. for two lines.  When I remove all of the phones, presto!, carrier is
  16. not dropped when the other line rings.  I have tried each phone
  17. individually and they all seem to cause line noise on the other line
  18. (line2) when line1 rings.  These phones are essential and I was
  19. wondering if there was some way to suppress this overlapping effect.

  21. BTW: would one of those 'anti evesdropping' radio shack gizmos
  22. eliminate ringing from other phones too?
