- I don't know if anyone from ZyXEL's R&D section is reading this, but
- I have run into a couple of small problems with v 5.04 on my 1496S
-
- 1> RINGING. - when my bbs polls out, it's set up to abort if it sees
- the string RING (among other things) for obvious reasons.
- Is there any way to disable RINGING?
- Alternatively, is there another word that could be
- used in the next ROM version please?
-
- 2> The fix for New Zealand. ( detects ringing as busy )
- This "sort of" works - I get BUSY less often on ringing tones,
- but it still happens around 30% of the time.
- It's a damn nuisance when polling...
-
- Wish list:
-
- 1> MULTI-AUTO 300 bps answering capability -
- Supras can do it now, so why not ZyXELs?
- I have a couple of 300bps callers,(and a V.23 user),
- it'd be nice for them not to have to call my voice line
- and ask for me to especially set the modem for them.
-
- 2> The latest manual. - Is it available as a file I can get from somewhere?
