  22. I'm afraid that's not the case for several VERY popular models of
  23. Telebit modems:
  24.  
  25.     TrailBlazer - Original Telebit modem.  Does not support V.32.
  26.               Just PEP, 2400, 1200, and 300 bps.
  27.  
  28.     TrailBlazer Plus - Replaced the TrailBlazer in the Telebit
  29.                    modem family.  Has same modulations.
  30.  
  31.     T2000 - A TrailBlazer Plus with support for SDLC in PEP mode.
  32.         Otherwise, is the same modem, including the modulations.
  33.  
  34.     T1000 - A cheaper version of the TrailBlazer Plus.  PEP mode
  35.         limited to 9600 bps instead of 14,000-19,200 bps.
  36.         Same modulations otherwise.

  38. The Telebit modems that do support V.32 are as follows:

  40.     T2500 - PEP, V.32, 2400, 1200, 300 bps modulations.
  41.  
  42.     T1500 - V.32, 2400, 1200, 300 bps modulations.

  44.     T1600 - Replaced the T1500 in the Telebit modem family.

  46.     QBlazer - V.32, 2400, 1200, 300.

  48.     T3000 - V.32bis, V.32, 2400, 1200, 300.

  50.     WorldBlazer - Turbo-PEP/PEP, V.32bis, V.32, 2400, 1200, 300.

  52. So you see, if your company's modem is one of the models in the first
  53. list, it does NOT support V.32.  The fastest connection you can make
  54. is 2400 (unless you can use PEP).  You need to get a T2500 or WorldBlazer
  55. if you want both PEP and V.32.
