- I'm afraid that's not the case for several VERY popular models of
- Telebit modems:
-
- TrailBlazer - Original Telebit modem. Does not support V.32.
- Just PEP, 2400, 1200, and 300 bps.
-
- TrailBlazer Plus - Replaced the TrailBlazer in the Telebit
- modem family. Has same modulations.
-
- T2000 - A TrailBlazer Plus with support for SDLC in PEP mode.
- Otherwise, is the same modem, including the modulations.
-
- T1000 - A cheaper version of the TrailBlazer Plus. PEP mode
- limited to 9600 bps instead of 14,000-19,200 bps.
- Same modulations otherwise.
-
- The Telebit modems that do support V.32 are as follows:
-
- T2500 - PEP, V.32, 2400, 1200, 300 bps modulations.
-
- T1500 - V.32, 2400, 1200, 300 bps modulations.
-
- T1600 - Replaced the T1500 in the Telebit modem family.
-
- QBlazer - V.32, 2400, 1200, 300.
-
- T3000 - V.32bis, V.32, 2400, 1200, 300.
-
- WorldBlazer - Turbo-PEP/PEP, V.32bis, V.32, 2400, 1200, 300.
-
- So you see, if your company's modem is one of the models in the first
- list, it does NOT support V.32. The fastest connection you can make
- is 2400 (unless you can use PEP). You need to get a T2500 or WorldBlazer
- if you want both PEP and V.32.

- Depends on which Telebit modem you have. Start with S50=0.
