  15. Here's one tip that we use.  The reason the modem doesn't answer is
  16. because you set S0=0 in your outdial chat script and the modem didn't
  17. reset its parameters.

  19. We set S0=10 in our scripts.  That way, even if the modem doesn't reset
  20. and you're out in the field somewhere you can still hold on for ten
  21. rings and get through.

  23. But our WB recently froze up while I was out of town and it wasn't
  24. making itself available to incoming _or_ outgoing calls (and we do have
  25. 5.01).
