  34. I have the same. I have my DTE fixed at 38400.  I usually get about 
  35. 1900cps when unploading/downloading compressed files.  Gotten about 
  36. 3200cps with plain text files.  What type of files are you transferring?  
  37. What software are youusing to do the download?  There are quite a few bad 
  38. implementaions of file transfer protocols.
