  12.     I have a PPI PM14400FXSA (ROM 1.15m), and a friend has a Zoom 14.4.
  13. I've noticed that v.32bis connections between our modems only run a 12.0
  14. carrier, while (naturall) v.32bis connections between my modem and other
  15. modems (a Telebit T3000, another PPI 14.4, an Intel 14.4) run a 14.4 carrier.
  16.     Is the Zoom unit running a flawed v.32bis implementation?  Has anyone
  17. else had similar problems?
