  13. Craig, and the rest of you who replied by mail -- you know who you are
  14. :-) --  Thanks for your noting the "no ORDER BY in a subquery" proviso
  15. which I had been unable to find in TFM until now.

  17. Taking away the ORDER BY and ROWNUM= certainly DO get rid of the error
  18. but don't accomplish my aim which was to get the reason codes for the 10
  19. most-wasted parts in a given work center.

  22. morning -- it looks like an interesting approach.
