  12. I'm planning on using the Oracle Archiver and I'm interested in
  13. hearing about how other DBAs are using the Oracle Archiver.

  15. I am investigating three possibilities:
  16.  
  17. 1.    Archiving to a disk device that contains Oracle data files.
  18.  
  19. 2.    Archiving to a disk device that contains no Oracle data files.
  20.  
  21. 3.    Archiving directly to a tape device.
  22.  
  23. 4.    Archiving to another system on the network (via NFS)
  24.  
  25. I will summarize all responses for the net.
  26.  
  27. BTW, I'm running 6.0.36.4.1 on DEC RISC ULTRIX.
