- I'm planning on using the Oracle Archiver and I'm interested in
- hearing about how other DBAs are using the Oracle Archiver.
-
- I am investigating three possibilities:
-
- 1. Archiving to a disk device that contains Oracle data files.
-
- 2. Archiving to a disk device that contains no Oracle data files.
-
- 3. Archiving directly to a tape device.
-
- 4. Archiving to another system on the network (via NFS)
-
- I will summarize all responses for the net.
-
- BTW, I'm running 6.0.36.4.1 on DEC RISC ULTRIX.
-
- Thanks in advance.
