  15. IMHO, you are seeking the wrong solution, but...
  16. Start at the source.  
  17. (1) Build your own Oracle gateway for the server machine
  18. using Oracle Call Interface API and Unix sockets library.
  19. (2) For PC, buy one (1) Socket API for TCP/IP and deploy.
