- Does anyone know how to get the Unix pid associated with a database
- connection? I already have a script which removes all database connections
- except for ingres owned connections ( I wish Ingres would supply this for
- offline checkpointing etc...perhaps in the new releases). What I would like
- to do then is send a HUP/KILL signal to the processes which had the database
- connections. Perhaps this is too much to ask since the process can originate
- on a client machine. Does anyone have any thoughts?
-
- thanks,
