- Just a quick note: Paradox for Windows WILL be able to share files
- with Paradox 4.0 concurrently.
-
- I missed the message you are replying to. What are some of the things that
- would be nice in the system? Often, there are five equally good ways
- of doing things (each with their own disadvantages) and it's better to
- let people pick the one they want rather than imposing (e.g. Auto
- incrimenting fields).
-
- I think the new interface is easier for interactive users, and it is that
- ease that take a little more PAL programming to support (where there are
- more choices, there are more decisions). As you said, there are a lot of
- things that are much easier and more flexible, and even some freebies
- (like fast Queries).
-
- And we are looking at making future versions of Paradox for DOS better and
- more powerful. Understand that I am not an official vehicle for feedback
- (Tech Support and Product Management are), but I would like to chat
- about the possibilities.
