  17. Actually, you get a 2 month trial period before you're required to register
  18. when joining WWIVnet.

  20. VBBS doesn't use the WWIV software but they DO use the WWIV-Network software
  21. which is also copyright protected by law.  Systems that are Non-WWIV but which
  22. use the WWIV-Network software are required to register the network software (a
  23. lesser fee than registering WWIV itself) by the end of their two-month trial
  24. period.

  26. Systems which don't use WWIV-Network software are not required to register
  27. WWIV or the WWIV-Network software.  An example of this is WWCP.  If you use
  28. WWCP to gate a Waffle board into WWIVnet, you don't need to register anything
  29. with WWIV on the name.
