  13. There is obviously an interest in creating a WWIV newsgroup.

  15. You have a choice - create alt.bbs.WWIV, or go to news.groups and
  16. post a Request for Discussion and (if there is sufficient interest)
  17. Call for Votes. This will take about 3 months from start to finish.

  19. To create a mainstream group, you must have a 2/3 yes majority, with
  20. Yes's outweighing No's by at least 100 votes.

  22. If you create the group in alt, you can move it to mainstream later
  23. if the traffic justifies it, but you will still have to go through
  24. the voting procedure.
