  22. No, Charlie.  I would say that the preceding comments are still
  23. correct.  What you are telling must be a special case.  Under the
  24. prevalent transfer situations I can assure you that the difference
  25. matters.  Did you explicitly set the trasnfer ascii and then binary,
  26. because the default may vary from site to site.
