  25. ASCII versus BINARY does not matter for ftp.  I just ftp'ed /unix using ascii
  26. and binary, and then did a cksum and sum.  The files were identical.  The
  27. ascii transfer just took longer.  I don't know if this is specifc to AIX,
  28. but I doubt it.
