- OS/2 Upload Information Template for ftp-os2.nmsu.edu
-
- Program Description [ JPEG version 4 (image conversion) 16-bit ]
-
- Program Source: (sources from the JPEG site ftp.uu.net)
- Proposed directory:
- OS/2 version ANY
- os2/all/graphics/
-
- Note:
- 1. jpeg v3 appears in all/graphics/, but if it is Kim's version, then
- it is OS/2 2.0 only.
-
- 2. This is mainly for OS/2 1.x, as the 2.0-specific versions will be
- considerably faster.
-
- 3. This file can (should?) replace jpeg v3.
-
-
- readme.txt file for OS/2 1.x-2 distribution of the JPEG version 4 software.
-
- The enclosed executables were created with Microsoft C 6.00A with dmake 3.8
- under OS/2. Small changes to the supplied makefile were required. The
- command-line follows the usual UNIX-style syntax (input file is optional,
- and output is to stdout).
-
- The JPEG executables compiled with gcc/2 for OS/2 by Meir I. Green
- (mig@columbia.edu) are considerably faster than the 16-bit versions.
-
- Files:
- cjpeg.exe OS/2 1.x-2 executable
- djpeg.exe OS/2 1.x-2 executable
- jpeg.def linker definition file
- makefile modified makefile.mc6 for dmake 3.8 under OS/2
- patches.os2 context diff's
- readme.txt this file
