- I know it's sort of silly to keep hacking programs for Apollo's, but since
- it is the only platform that we/I really use.
- (We have one Sun 3/110 and one SGI whatever mips box)
-
- So what else can I do :-)
-
- Being not very please with the getty version shipped with the box, I ported
- a program from one of the local gurus to be used under the BSD env.
- The original is for execution on SysV platforms.
-
- This program can be used a replacement for the standard /etc/getty and
- then you should be able to use your Hayes modem a little better.
- Try:
- ftp.eb.ele.tue.nl:/pub/apollo/pd-progs/agetty.shar
-
- For remarks on the SysV version, please contact the original author.
- (The most recent SysV versions can be fetched at:
- ftp.win.tue.nl:/pub/unix/agetty.shar
- )
-
- The BSD remarks can be dropped in my mail.
-
- Ciao, and enjoy
-
