  21. A compiler front-end for Eiffel-3 is available. It has been generated
  22. automatically with the Karlsruhe toolbox for compiler construction
  23. according to the most recent public language definition. The parser
  24. derives an easy-to-use abstract syntax tree, supports elementary error
  25. recovery and provides a precise source code indication of errors. It
  26. performs a strict syntax check and analyses 4000 lines of source code per
  27. second on a Sun-SPARC workstation.
