- Hemlock again. Had a question about why my 1-2-3 files were sliding down
- the page when printed.....
-
- I downloaded the virus detector P-PROT 2.06a and ran it. In "Heuristics"
- method it found my lotus BPRINT.EXE file to be "suspicious." Said "This is
- a self-modifying program, which may indicate a self-encrypting virus or
- just unusual code." Terrific, but I don't know what that means or what to
- do about it. Can anyone translate this for me please? Does this sound like
- it could have been creating the printing problem? And what can/should I do
- to correct it. I'm by no means capable of making programming changes and
- I'm afraid to just delete the thing (it wouldn't still print things,
- right?) so .... while it's nice to have found this tidbit of information I
- don't have a clue as to how to use it.
-
- Follow-ups to jtroxel@u.washington.edu please.
-
- Thanks.
