  17. Thanks to everyone who told me to add "-font Courier" to the commandline
  18. options to get it to start.  The trickier part was to choose the nicer
  19. System Monospaced font in SAS, do Options -> Save Window Layout, and then
  20. remove the "-font Courier" from the commandline to get SAS to default to 
  21. the system monospaced font.
