  13. My error then in reference to Saybrook accreditation, taken from your
  14. notes. Mea Culpa.
  15. Re APA: Perhaps it is self-serving, but I think that as the main organization
  16. of psychologists, it seems reasonable that if national standards are to be
  17. set, it should be done by that organization.
  18. I do have an issue with leaving all licensing requirements up to the final
  19. licensing exam.  The regulation of professional training is another safeguard
  20. against ineffective professionals.  I don't think the only gate an
  21. independently practicing professional pyschologist should have to pass through
  22. is getting through a single test.
