- Re APA: Perhaps it is self-serving, but I think that as the main organization
- of psychologists, it seems reasonable that if national standards are to be
- set, it should be done by that organization.
- I do have an issue with leaving all licensing requirements up to the final
- licensing exam. The regulation of professional training is another safeguard
- against ineffective professionals. I don't think the only gate an
- independently practicing professional pyschologist should have to pass through
- is getting through a single test.
