  13. A Happy Holidays to all in NOTIS-L land.

  15. Rusty needs some information, so as to keep him out of trouble
  16. between Christmas and New Years, and enable him to continue
  17. working on his pet project.

  19. Does anyone out there have the ASCII code (digital or hex) that
  20. sends the CAERE barcode scanner wand into SETUP or REMOTE mode?
  21. As some know, you wand a barcode in the INSTALLATION and PROGRAMMING
  22. GUIDE to enter the 'remote' mode and set the parameters for the
  23. scanner.  You know, stuff like a <CR> for a postamble, the kinds
  24. of barcodes used, etc.  Well, the ENTER and ENTER REMOTE barcodes
  25. are the only ones that do not have the ASCII representation printed
  26. above them.  Of course, when scanned, they do not print out on the
  27. screen, so that option is a bust.

  29. Should anyone be able to provide me with this information, I can
  30. promise a round or two at my expense at NUGM 93.
