  13.     1.      I too am puzzled.  I do not remember any procedure for
  14. transferring address blocks to letters with the key sequence (or any
  15. other) you note.  My 3.1 gives me the search sequence with those
  16. keystrokes: F1-l(layout)-s(search)-(no "t" choice, but prompted for
  17. the subdirectory parameters).  Which would result in a
  18. "se [directory]*[file.names]*"
  19. sort of search.  There is no entry for such a procedure in my manual
  20. under "address" and I have no idea what you are talking about.

  22.     2.      As I said, marking a block, going to the action line with
  23. either F9 or F8, then gray+ puts the block on the action line.  Great
  24. improvement.

  26.     3.      You are right, it would be nice to be able to change \Lxxx\ to
  27. \Lyyy\, leaving whatever Letter is in the L spot alone. We should ask
  28. for this in our various communications to NBI, or whatever it will be
  29. called.

  33. By the way, this file was prepared on the machine with lingua
  34. installed, and converted with Michael Shalev's Email.run program.
  35. Having run the program successfully under 4.0, however, I did note a
  36. similar, though different, odd behavior:  the file Email.run had a LS
  37. delta added to the beginning of it, and all the command brackets were
  38. changed into equal to or less than, and equal to or greater than
  39. symbols.  Very odd indeed. Upon running it again, on this file, the
  40. resulting file had 2 <<MDNM>>s  at the beginning of each line.  It
  41. clearly needs work.
