- I am not able to check this properly, but I do recall something about
- characters in note numbering being affected by the footnote mode
- settings in the printer driver used. I think the discussion centred
- around one of us who wanted a bracket around or after the footnote
- number and before the note itself, but without upsetting the right
- margin. Does this take matters further....?
