  13. There have lately been complaints, which I share, about the way Autoreplace
  14. mode has been messed up by the change to NB4.  There is quite an early limit
  15. on the length of an expansion string, and no CRs can be included in a
  16. string: if they are, the computer hangs. I have devised a solution
  17. that, I think, circumvents these problems.  As the description of it
  18. is fairly intricate, I will not publicly impose it on the list.  But,
  19. if anyone cares to write to me privately, I will gladly send it.
  20. You must have one of the decoding programs and UNZIP to be able to
  21. read it.
