- I've been told that 3.0 can read a 1.44 Mac-formatted floppy. I have
- a TIFF image that was scanned for me and put onto a 1.44MB Mac disk,
- but I can't seem to get the NeXT to read it.
-
- I get the "The floppy disk is unreadable" panel and
-
- "fd: DISK UNFORMATTED" at the console.
-
- I've been unable to find any references to Mac disks in Librarian,
- but several people have told me that "it just works".
-
- Am I misinformed about this feature in 3.0, or is there something
- more to it (restrictions on format of disk, bug in 3.0, etc.)?
-
- Thanks
- Ken (ken@nika.com)
