  12. I've been told that 3.0 can read a 1.44 Mac-formatted floppy.  I have
  13. a TIFF image that was scanned for me and put onto a 1.44MB Mac disk,
  14. but I can't seem to get the NeXT to read it.

  16. I get the "The floppy disk is unreadable" panel and
  17.  
  18. "fd: DISK UNFORMATTED" at the console.
  19.  
  20. I've been unable to find any references to Mac disks in Librarian,
  21. but several people have told me that "it just works".
  22.  
  23. Am I misinformed about this feature in 3.0, or is there something
  24. more to it (restrictions on format of disk, bug in 3.0, etc.)?
