  13. Having never helped organize an ALA conference before, I can't be
  14. absolutely sure of this statement, but doesn't it seem way too late
  15. to think of moving Midwinter?  This being the case, wouldn't a more
  16. practical tactic be to GO to Denver and raise hell in an appropriate
  17. way?  Then, couldn't a group of activists within ALA promote a
  18. resolution to ban future conferences in the state unless the nefarious
  19. law is rescinded?

  21. A related reference question, of sorts:  Has anyone seen or heard
  22. any arguments on the *constitutionality* of the Colorado law?
