- Subject: Carriage control on MVS output sent to VM
- Lines: 14
-
- The problem may be with the CMS RECEIVE EXEC, not with MVS.
- RECEIVE as delivered strips carriage control from PRT-type
- spool files by default. We put a local mod on our RECEIVE EXEC
- to invoke the DEPRINT module to read print spool files to disk and
- preserve the carriage control. (DEPRINT is included with the
- CMS Utilities feature of VM/ESA, formerly packaged as the VM/IPF
- Program Product). Send me private mail if you'd like a copy
- of the fix.
