- I am exploring ways to distribute reports to networked printers on a
- campus backbone using primarily TCPIP. The mechanism that we are going
- to use takes SYSOUT destined for an NJE site/printer and converts that
- to a TCP/IP lpr session with a network host. Clear? :-)
-
- My first stab at this requires that output to a VTAM printer LU be
- redirected to SYSOUT where I can examine it and redirect it to the
- correct NJE printer. Is there any VTAM application out there that looks
- like a printer to VTAM but redirects the report to SYSOUT?
