  14. I am attempting to patch together a mail handler for our vm/cms.  I've got
  15. the download mail part so it is at least temperally accptable.  My idea
  16. for the upload section was like so: 
  17. The mail would be created on a pc front end (peguisus mail) and saved.
  18. A pascal program would convert the header format of the pc mail to that
  19. which the mailer wants (more on this later)
  20. a procomm plus script would move all the outgoing mail files to the vm
  21. a rexx program would figure out the names of all the outgoing files and sf
  22. them to mailer  OR the procomm plus script could transmit sf filename for
  23. each file.

  25. This rases two problems.  First is that I am not able to find ANYTHING
  26. about what format the mailer wants the mail in.  If anyone out there has
  27. an idea / documentation, I would greatly appreciate it.  Our cms front end
  28. is Ricemail, in case that makes any difference.

  30. Second, what is the basic algorythm for a sf * outmail mailer in rexx. 
  31. And why can't cms take an sf * outmail in the first place.  Most other
  32. OS's I've worked with are a LOT better about wildcards tham CMS.

  34. By the way, this doesn't have to be too essoteric - the whole thing will
  35. be in use for six months to a year at most.  The basic I dea is to get it
  36. working most the time.
