  11. I have recently had an enlightening experience concerning Britian - India -
  12. Islam - national Adgendas - Historians adgendas - the upshot of these
  13. discussions has me looking for substantiating resources.  An Islamic
  14. History professor (whose Ph.D.  is in British History) maintains that
  15. much of the secondary history we see is of a very colored viewpoint.

  17. When I requested sources - his statement was There aren't any Arabic
  18. histories of the crusades - left me twitching a bit.  I'll admit there
  19. seems to be some grey areas here - but does anyone know of any Arabic
  20. historical work that can be used as original source?  Admittedly there
  21. will be a large language barrier - but existence is the first question.
