- I think that people working on days when the rest of an organization (uni-
- versity) have off should be compensated at time and a half even if the half
- day is given "off the book." This should particularly be the case on "snow"
- days when, at least at our university (Marquette), staff is paid for the
- day but do not work. Those who do are allowed to take another day off later.
- Big deal! How about being rewarded rather than simply being given what less
- "dedicated" staff get anyway. How about a day and a half off. Better yet,
- how about an extra hald day's pay?
