  20. dealing with LC's new policy on subject headings for Russia/Soviet Union

  22. (FEDERATION)--SIBERIA" Subject Cataloging Manual H1023 (Aug 92), p.1]?

  30.    It would be a whole lot simpler, it seems to me, to use the subject
  31. heading "Russia" for all material about Russia OR the former Soviet
  32. Union. Or is this too simple?  (Remember ca. 1899-1981 LC used
  33. "Russia" in just this way.)
