  17. We are looking into various library automation options, and are
  18. interested in identifying people who are willing to share their
  19. experiences about what it is like to use their particular library
  20. automation system--especially in terms of its capabilities,
  21. peculiarities, etc. for serials functions (including serials
  22. acquisitions and fund accounting).  It would do us most good to talk
  23. with people in libraries somewhat similar to ours (middle of ARL),
  24. who are using a vended system (as opposed to a home-grown system not
  25. generally available to others), and in which the system has been in
  26. use long enough to be considered "settled in".
