  28. One minor clarification here:  Lovecraft didn't write the Avon _Necronomicon_
  29. (or any of the versions out for that matter). He just wrote about The Book in
  30. his (excellent) stories, thus inspiring the later hoaxers. And yes, that book 
  31. is hilarious.
