- I'm not 100% sure what you mean, but if a sound is stored in memory, it is a
- sample, no matter where it came from. The "synth sound" is not too clear, it
- might mean a sound that's sampled from a synthesizer, pre-synthesized and
- saved as a sample, or real-time calculated...

- Though the new C compilers are pretty good in optimizing, they can never be as
- good as a human can. That's why the best demos will always be written in
- assembly, though some things can of course be done in C, too.. But you're right
- that demos could be done system friendly, even to the point that they would
- support RTG. It would slow them a bit, but not too much, especially remembering
- that if they were system friendly, they would run without problems on faster
- Amigas. And besides, the most time-consuming things wouldn't slow a bit, only
- the screen access, and audio (not necessarily, depending how good the HW audio
- routine was.. Check MultiPlayer if you don't believe it.)..
