- There is no real definition. It depends on the context. In the Amiga audio
- context, sample is, like I've said, I list of values representing some sound.
- Here is, however, the Websters Encyclopedic Unabridged Dictionary definition:

- v., -pled, -pling. -n. 1. a small part of anything or one of a number, intended
- to show the quality, style, or nature of the whole, specimen. -adj. 2. serving
