- I agree. Iv'e seen some of those running, (including the jello like cube),
- and they are truely impessive in that they run on the OS. I played around
- with a whole bunch of them, and they all multi-tasked on the "Workbench".
- Sure, the SGI's are packing a lot more processing power, but an A4000/040
- comes very close to the low-end SGI's. What was really cool is the flight
- simulator they had, very realistic, and it multi-tasked. (Of course that was
- the high-end system).
-
- I would find OS friendly routines to be great. Especially when they show off
- the system, while multi-tasking. I still wouldn't want to lose the system
- take over demos, that really kick, even tho they aren't the most compatible.
-
- I saw a demo on a 486 the other day, was kinda funny, it took over the machine
- and looked real nice too. The funny part is they mentioned that the IBM could
- do the same as the Amiga. Heh, only demo of it's kind iv'e ever seen. I'm
- sure it wouldn't be nearly as nice on an XT, or even a 286
-
- Amigas rock. :)
