  15. I have gotten a lot of responses suggesting I try alt.support.diet; I 
  16. appreciate that people are trying to be helpful, but it's sort of like
  17. suggesting that an alcoholic check out "alt.party-hardy" or something.
  18. I don't want tips on how to diet effectively; I want to deal with my
  19. body image problems and speak in a forum of people who have similar or
  20. more serious eating disorders who are trying to *stop* abusing their bodies.
  21. (Not that I am totally against all dieting or anything, BTW.)

  23. I am really surprised that there is not an "alt.eating-disorders" or
  24. "alt.anorexia-bulemia" or something.  There really should be.  Is anybody
  25. else out there at all interested in such a group?
